The Rolling Justice Bus Tour

Truth and reconciliation, environmental and Indigenous land rights, and basic justice were all parts of the Kairos lead bus tour through the B.C. interior this past August. Participants connected with numerous First Nations leaders and activists, frontline workers, agricultural landowners, and environmentalists. Several of the tour members will be on hand to describe their momentous trip.

Historian and activist Larry Hannant describes the context of the Spanish Civil War, the outpouring of anti-fascist international solidarity it evoked, and the lessons of that struggle for today.

Larry teaches at Camosun College and is the author of several books. This is a longer version of his brilliant presentation in June at the Cumberland Miners’ Memorial .
